Student concept · Coffee sales and school support are not yet live

Coffee costs more. Do farmers get more?

I’m Hridhaan, and I’m 15. That question is why I started Grounds4Schools. I want to see whether better coffee can mean a fairer deal for growers and more chances for children to learn. First, I need to find out if the idea really works.

A simple idea, carefully tested

I want to get this right.

01

Ask parents

Ask what families actually buy, spend and care about.

02

Check the coffee

Find good coffee and ask growers and roasters what a fair price takes.

03

Show the difference

Show what farmers are paid and what reaches a school.

Someone grew the coffee in your cup.

I want to know the people behind our future coffee, and share their stories only if they want me to. More than that, I want to show what they were paid and what a school received.

Where we stand

An idea in progress.

I can’t do this on my own.

If you’re a parent, teacher, grower or roaster, your questions and experience could make this idea better.
